ObamaCare Demise Greatly Exaggerated

Nate Silver over at FiveThirtyEight examines the four scenarios under which health care reform could still pass this year.

I'm banking on scenario number one – "Whip the Democrats Into Submission."

I'll go with that too Conrad. I hope that President Obama has the energy to lead the Blue Dog Democratic cowards (it comes from their inner Republican) into the light, but it must be hard when you have to constantly try to sell positive change to people who are reluctant to change by nature. Unfortunately, I fear our "conservative" Democratic colleagues will damage the legislation before it's all over. I'll try to stay hopeful. MB

Michael we'll have to watch and see how this plays out. Obama seems to have his game face on now so I wouldn't bet against him down the final stretch.

Anonymous I know several Canadians. They do have to wait a few weeks to see a specialist but is that any different from the US? The last time that I was really sick, I started calling the doctors approved by my insurance provider and the fastest I could get in to see any of them was three weeks. I finally said forget it, I'll either be well or dead by then.

So you ae saying that organization I listed is bogus?
I say whoever wants the public system should be able to go on it "low" cost and quality care it will provide you.
I am already telling people"I told you so"
You may just tak a little longer to come around once you feel the reality of it all.
